- Blanke Armaturen manufactures compression fittings, pipe clamps, ball valves, air brake fittings, lubrication and oil control accessories as well as transformator parts for high voltage transformators.
- The company was founded in 1887 by the Grandfather Ing. Heinrich Blanke in Leipzig, Saxony.
- Around 1903 the company seat moved from Leipzig to Dippoldiswalde near Dresden.
- Blanke Armaturen was newly founded in Bonn Bad Godesberg in 1947 by Ing. Johannes Blanke, Father.
- Blanke Armaturen is privately owned and nowadays managed by Ing. Franz Blanke.
- The company holds several patents and inventions as well as a modern production system and logistics. Products are manufactured on modern multi-spindle, CNC and transfer machines.
- The head office of the company is located in Bonn Bad Godesberg, Germany. Blanke Armaturen has also branches in Austria, Bulgaria, Romania and France.
- Products are distributed world-wide with a large success.

- Founded in 1887 in Leipzig, Saxony, East Germany.
- Founder : Heinrich Blanke (Grandfather). Start with 5 employees.
- The first products were parts used for engine lubrication and oil control devices like sight glasses, grease devices and nipples as well as other accessories.
- 1905: Construction of a larger plant in Dippoldiswalde, Saxony, East Germany (near Dresden).
- 1910: Expansion of the production with half-automated machines.
- 1920: Products were sold in Europe, Asia and Orient. Production of the complete product range of grease and oil control devices as well as sight glasses included in our catalogue.
- 1944: 800 employees in Dippoldiswalde, Saxony.
- 1945: Company under Russian control. Property loss of the entire company and private belongings. The Blanke family had to flee to West Germany to save their lives. All machines and facilities went to Siberia.
- 1947: Johannes Blanke (Father) starts again some business activities in a two-room apartment in Bad Honnef close to Bonn.
- 1948: Heinrich Blanke (Grandfather) died at the age of 88.
- 1948: Purchase of a site with halls and additional buildings. The goal is to produce again lubrication devices, sight glasses and low-pressure fittings.
- 1950: Start of the production of high-pressure connectors on own machines. Compression fittings become in the 50’s the main products.
- 1960’s: Blanke products are distributed throughout West Europe. The production of elbows and Tees was strongly expanded.
- 1970’s: Distribution in South Africa, North America, Arabia and Far East.
- 1982: Johannes Blanke (Father) died at the age of 83.
- 1985: The sole Managing Director and owner of the company is Ing. Franz Blanke (Son) after buying out his brother.
- 1986: Extensive investment programme to increase drastically the own production.
- 1987: Large investment in modern production technology.
- 1988: Distribution in the United States, South America and Australia.
- 1990: Foundation of a new production company in Bulgaria and in Western Europe. Start of the pipe clamp production.
- 1992: The production capacity is further expanded.
- 1998: Direct acquisition of OEM markets and Kan Ban deliveries. Blanke holds many multi-spindle machines, CNC, mono-spindle and transfer machines. 200 people are employed world-wide by Blanke Armaturen. The main market is Germany.
- 1999: New strategic decisions and adaptations in the sales department in preparation to the Euro. ISO 9001, Lloyd's Register of Shipping, Germanischer Lloyd, RINA, ABS, Bureau Veritas, Hrvatski Registar Brodova.
- 2000: Planning of new investments for the production of special parts.
- 2001: Improvement of our logistics and QM system.
- 2002: Systematic production of ORFS compression fittings for famous customers.
- 2003: Large investments in complicated straight parts.
- 2004: Investment planning for the production of forged parts. Increase of the productivity through additional work. New efficient QM system.
- 2005: Planning of the new surface treatment structure in chrome VI free for compression fittings. A new investment was made for the production of compression fittings. New adjustments in the pipe clamp production. Increase of the stainless steel and brass compression fittings production.
- Plans: The turnover was increased with a two digit percentage through consequent cost management within the production and the purchasing department.
